Lead Line Performance Classic.

Division A: Lead Line Performance Classic. This division is for riders of all ages that need the help of being led. Side walkers acceptable.

Suitable for children, parents, husbands, or anyone needing assisted riding. Class will be split by ages if entries warrant. 

Entry Fee: Canadian Competitors $26.00 for the division or $10.00 per class. All other competitors please pay $30.00 (CND) for the division, or $12.00 per class (to cover additional shipping costs)

Video Due July 5, 2020

Late entries accepted up to July 4, for an additional $4.00.

Once your entries are received, you will receive a receipt with information on how to submit your video (s).

Three elements:
1) Lead Line on the Rail:

video rider at Walk from both sides & show a halt transition. Judged on equitation.
2) Performance Round: Walk a “barrel” pattern OR a pole course. Barrels must be between 5-10 meters apart (16-32 feet) and walked in the cloverleaf pattern. Barrels can be buckets, pylons, flower pots or? Alternatively, a pole course can consist of 4 poles, and must include at least one change of direction. Judged on rider’s focus, and leader’s athleticism.
3) Turn out: Judging overall presentation of horse, rider and leader.

Please present all elements in one video that is under 120 seconds. Editing is allowed. Turn out can be judged “on the move”.  Competitors can be English or Western. HELMETS REQUIRED by all riders in this division.

All division competitors will receive a mini rosette in their favourite colour, as well as a prize. Competitors will receive constructive comments from our judge.

This division will be split by age of rider if entries warrant.

Special prizes will be awarded to the Classic Champion, Reserve Champion and Runner Up.
